Bubble Production in Florence – Behind the Scenes with Emma Innocenti

Royalty-free images don’t grow on trees. They are created in productions. Productions require a team. People form a team. People gathering is still a problem right now. Since we don’t want to drift too far into political banter here but rather address a moral point, let’s explain how this Emma Innocenti production was possible with some models and a larger production team.

In collaboration with our art director Giorgio Fochesato, the production team created the best possible conditions for a safe environment. The first step was to appoint a person in charge of hygiene, who took on the responsibility of the entire team’s health – with disinfectant and a watchful eye. In addition to the conventional measures, first and foremost wearing the appropriate masks, the team made use of the bubble system and carried out the shooting with real-life couples. In this way, applicable distance and contact rules could be maintained.

This is the beautiful imagery of Emma Innocenti!

Their first “real-life” collaboration between Giorgio, Emma, and her partner David Lee, a Westend61 videographer, has finally been able to occur. Emma is still relatively new to the Westend61 photographer community, and we will soon introduce her further on the blog. The production took place at “The Student Hotel” in Florence. Due to the versatility, the team will surely return here for one or the other opportunity.
