Wir wollten von Christoph etwas mehr dazu wissen.
Christoph, this location is incredible. How did you get it?
We generally do a lot of research and make a lot of contacts. So nowadays, many of our customers and friends know that we’re always on the lookout for special locations.
Did you work according to a plan or did the shooting unfold rather spontaneously?
We visited the location with our art director, Michael Kopal, and then we worked out a rough plan together. On the day of the shooting, we knew which stories and which props we wanted to use. While we were shooting, we always tried to tell other stories, too. Stories which came from spontaneous ideas that were generated on the spot.
With this production you’ve managed to kill several birds with one stone. We can see here a business office, a home office, too, and there’s a good deal of modern living represented as well. The images are genuine and authentic, they convey a very contemporary lifestyle. What’s important for you in terms of your choice of models, location and styling, so you can wind up creating your own special visual language? Which, by the way, we love just as much as the customers do.
For us, the most important factor is being able to be truly excited about the models and the location. Then, if a particularly special atmosphere gets to develop while shooting, we’ll usually get exactly the images we’re looking to have.
