WHAT IS A MARKET FREEZE?
Market Freeze means that you can have Royalty Free images and videos (or even entire series) locked and removed from the market – just for you! No one but you or your customer can use those images and videos from the moment you license them. This is a very attractive licensing model if, for example, you don’t want competitors to use the same stock media as you or your client.
FOR HOW LONG ARE THOSE IMAGES AND VIDEOS LOCKED?
This depends on you. You can select the period individually and continue to use the image(s) or video(s) even after the end of the Market Freeze period. A Market Freeze starts from 6 months and can run indefinitely if you wish.
WHERE ARE THOSE IMAGES AND VIDEOS LOCKED?
Westend61 distributes its images and videos not only in Germany, but internationally through a network of partners. If you license stock media with a Market Freeze, we not only take them down from our own website, we also have it deleted immediately from all our partners.
IS THERE A SALES HISTORY AVAILABLE?
If you want, we will be happy to let you know how often an image or video got licensed so far – through us directly or through our partners. Just ask your personal customer contact here at Westend61.
WHAT DOES A MARKET FREEZE COST?
We can lock images and videos internationally for you and your customers for as little as €1,500. We will calculate the license fee based on your requirements and provide you with a fair offer.
