In the publications from our customers, the royalty-free images of Maya Clausen always stand out. They are, for example, regular eye-catchers in magazine titles and educational campaigns. In the course of her stock photo career, the Cologne-by-choice photographer has increasingly focused on the topic of “People & Lifestyle.” Her work stands for high quality as well as for motif variety. Our customers especially appreciate Maya Clausen’s photos of harmonious families and happy life together. She is the “Feelgood Family Expert” of Westend61.
“Ingredients” for a top production:
A modern house, a relaxed family
For her current current family production – completely corona-compliant – Maya conceived and realized a shoot with a small team in a chic design house in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia. The wooden facade of the house and the deliberately simple garden offered the ideal setting for images of a deeply relaxed family day in their own “green oasis.” The models stand for three completely different characters, which harmonize perfectly in Maya’s setting.
The result is the authentic impression of a double-earner family that seems to easily reconcile work, a busy schedule, and shared leisure activities: no trace of everyday stress… and also no stress when distributing daily tasks every morning, which is so familiar to many of us: who takes the daughter to school and who picks her up? When is mom in Milan for her appointment? When does dad have to go to his three-day workshop in Berlin? And who is going to parents’ evening? And even if the dad in these photos does reach for his laptop and smartphone, he does so in a relaxed manner, and we as viewers remain relaxed because we know: Just a quick phone call, and then it’s back to the feel-good mode surrounded by loved ones.
The versatile family – an oasis of tranquility
But let’s be honest, as beautiful and pleasant as the photos of Maya Clausen are to look at, our customers should also derive a concrete benefit from them. That is why we at Westend61 are particularly pleased that Maya’s photos offer such a wide variety of applications despite their minimalist approach. Topics such as “savings account” or “pension insurance” come to mind immediately… and many other keywords that have to do with family provision and safeguarding.
The photo of the daughter with the bouquet of flowers could just as easily be an eye-catcher for a gardening magazine, and the dad with a laptop or smartphone would also fit just as well into a business or telecommunications campaign.
Conclusion: It is simply an all-round successful stock photo production. We are already curious where these photos will ultimately end up. And we know without a doubt that we will rediscover some of Maya’s motifs in the high-quality campaigns of our customers.
